Documenting Culture in the Gulf in A Time of War: A Community Project
Help us record, transcribe, and translate interviews as a volunteer
Kutubna Cultural Center will embark on a project of documenting our lives in the Gulf during the US/Israel-Iran war. What does it mean to be a mother, a father, a grandparent, a child, a teenager in the Gulf in the midst of missile and drone attacks? What is it like to be a writer or artist during this war? How are people living and experiencing this time? How is our experience different based on profession, cultural background, and family or other responsibilities?
You do not have to be a historian to record history. You do not have to be a writer to help shape the writings that emerge about this time. We welcome your contribution regardless of your age, educational background, and profession.
You can participate at different stages of this project as a volunteer. Fill out the form here to get started.
