Open Call for Artists: Digital Art Exhibition at Kutubna Cultural Center

Kutubna Cultural Center invites artists of all ages and nationalities to submit their artworks for an upcoming exhibition with a focus on Digital Art. The exhibition will take place at the Center, inside Kutubna’s gallery in Nadd Al Hamar, Dubai.

What You Need to Know

  • Exhibition Theme: Digital Art
  • Digital artworks created through conventional digital art methods, including drawing, painting, and illustrations, are welcome
  • Accepted mediums include software-based tools such as Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Krita, Clip Studio Paint, etc.
  • AI-generated artworks are NOT permitted. Artists must declare the tools/software used
  • Submitted works should reflect the artist’s own creative process and digital craftsmanship
  • Artists of all ages and nationalities are welcome
  • Multiple submissions (up to 5 works) are encouraged
  • All works must be ready for wall display (framed or mountable)
  • Delivery and collection of artwork is the responsibility of the artist
  • Submissions and participation are free
  • Venue: The exhibition will take place at the Center, inside Kutubna’s gallery in Nadd Al Hamar, Dubai
  • Deadline for submission: November 17, 2025
  • Selected artists will be contacted by email by November 24, 2025
  • Selected works will be in a public exhibition from January 17, 2026 – March 9, 2026

⚠️ Important: Submitting your work does not guarantee acceptance. All submissions will undergo a selection process by the Kutubna Cultural Center curatorial team.

  • Artist Statement (max 200 words)
  • Description of the method and process used to create the artwork (up to 200 words)
  • Upload Image (required, JPEG or PNG format)

All artworks must be original and created by the artist.

FAQ

Q: If I submit my artwork, will it automatically be included in the exhibition?
A: No. All submissions will go through a curatorial selection process. Only selected works will be included in the exhibition.

Q: How many artworks can I submit?
A: Up to 5 digital artworks.

Q: Can I use AI to generate my submission?
A: No. AI-generated artworks are not permitted. All works must be original and created by the artist.

Q: Is there a submission fee?
A: No. Submission and participation, if selected, are completely free of charge.

Q: Who is responsible for delivering and collecting the artwork?
A: The artist is responsible for both delivery and collection of their work.
