This workshop is a gentle introduction to watercolor painting, designed for beginners and art enthusiasts of all ages. Participants will be guided through the basics of watercolor, including understanding materials, brush control, color mixing, and simple techniques such as wet-on-wet and dry brush. The session will conclude with a basic guided painting, allowing participants to apply what they’ve learned and take home a completed artwork.

Meet the Contributor
Hiba is an architect, interior designer, and artist based in the UAE. She has been practicing watercolor painting for over 18 years, using the medium to document places, memories, and everyday moments. Her work is strongly influenced by composition, detail, and spatial understanding. Hiba conducts watercolor workshops that focus on making art approachable and enjoyable for beginners and creatives. Hiba leads watercolor workshops designed to be accessible and fun for both beginners and experienced creatives.
