Resilience Archive: An Oral History of 2026 in The Gulf

Resilience Archive: An Oral History of 2026 in The Gulf is the result of a community-led initiative collecting the stories of everyday people during missile and drone attacks. Through the work of volunteers and interns, Kutubna Cultural Center collected more than 60 interviews to record everyday life and creativity in the UAE and neighboring countries. As phase I of this project winds down, we are now working on the manuscript of the book. When you pre-order copies of the book, you fund the project’s physical outcome: a study of the collected interviews and a written document of our people’s history in our own voices. Funds from pre-orders will help us cover the costs of publishing the book. Pre-orders will also help us gauge demand for the book in order to determine how many copies to print. We plan for the physical copies of the book to be available in November 2027.
