About the Author

Belonging to a small town in Pakistan, Sammar Shabir always had high aspirations. She has been a small-scale writer for some time, selling short stories online and converting transcripts into anecdotes for a small non-profit organization, Women of Pakistan. However, a bout of illness during the Covid-19 pandemic slowed her down enough to write her first novel, The Barred Window. In her free time, she enjoys dance, furniture restoration, adventure sports, and travelling.
