About the event
This January, Kutubna Community Day returns — a full-day celebration of stories, creativity, and collective generosity.
Following the success of our past editions, we’re ready to begin a new chapter—and we’d love for you to be part of it.
More than just a cultural event, Community Day is also a fundraiser that helps sustain Kutubna’s cultural programs.
Visitors are invited to Pay What You Can, and every contribution goes directly toward keeping our initiatives open, inclusive, and accessible to all.
How you can contribute
Storytellers, performers, small businesses, and creatives of all kinds are invited to share their talents and ideas through:
- Storytime and readings for children in multiple languages
- Creative workshops for all ages
- Live talks and performances
- Pop-ups and product sampling
- Cozy café & donation station for books, toys, and art materials
There are no participation fees—only the shared joy of creating a day where creativity meets community impact.

Contributor guidelines
- All workshops, performances, and activities must be offered free of charge to the center. The center does not offer payments for any participating volunteers.
- All pay-what-you can registration fees will go toward supporting the center’s future programming.
- Selected licensed vendors may sell products during the event and keep all revenue.
- Workshop leaders must bring all supplies needed for their sessions. Kutubna may reimburse the cost of purchased materials only if they remain at the center for future use.
- Vendors selling books must have UAE Media Council approval, and revenues from all book sales will be shared with Kutubna in line with the center’s bookstore policy.
- Duration: Maximum length for any workshop or activity is 2 hours.
- Program details: In your form submission, include the age group (children, teens, adults, all ages), capacity (max participants), and duration.
