“Leila and DeeDee” is a children’s book about a little girl who has type 1 diabetes and struggles with her new medical device, a CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor). The book not only educates kids about diabetes and medical devices such as CGMs, but also fosters kindness, inclusion, and empathy for anyone living with a health condition.
