Traditional Tezhip Pattern Painting, participants will work with prepared floral designs, learning the classical technique of painting with gouache/poster colors. Layer by layer, they will bring their patterns to life with vibrant colors, guided by patience and precision. The workshop balances education and creativity, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of traditional methods while producing their own finished painted artwork. and have fun.
Meet the Contributor
Rakhshinda is an artist working across traditional and contemporary practices in painting, design, and illustration. Her creative journey blends heritage with modern expression, drawing inspiration from Islamic Illumination, botanical studies, and contemporary illustration. With a background in Graphic Design, Traditional Art, and Fine Arts, she has shared her work internationally through workshops and commissions ranging from paintings and prayer mats to bespoke illustrations. Through her art, she seeks to bridge tradition and innovation—honoring history while speaking to modern sensibilities.
