Shazia Khan is a London-born author who has called the UAE home since 2007. She wrote Under the Shade of an Old Ghaf Tree to celebrate the country’s vibrant food, rich wildlife, and Emirati desert traditions, weaving in lessons about curiosity, kindness, sharing, and friendship. When she’s not writing, Shazia enjoys exploring new flavors with family and friends and dreaming up her next story.
